How to Use ScreenReader

The FSJACL website is equipped with a ScreenReader Toolbar located at the bottom of the page to improve page accessibility.

It includes Text to Speech capabilities along with greyscale page rendering and the ability to change the main font for users with dyslexia. 

The ScreenReader is set to automatically read main content sections of the website, however you can also choose to select text areas manually.

Buttons and Use:

 screenreader volume  Volume Level Adjustment
 screenreader play  Play Main or Selected Text
 screenreader play  Pause Playback
 screenreader stop  Stop Playback
 screenreader dyslexic font  Change Main Font to Dyslexic Font
 screenreader greyscale  Remove Colour from Website and Display Greyscale Only
 screenreader main text  Go to Main Text section of page. Then click Play button to begin.

The Fort St. John Association for Community Living was incorporated on January 23, 1960. We are a non-profit organization that has contracts with Community Living BC to provide services to adults with developmental disabilities. We provide services in the Fort St. John and District area.
