Dustin:  Hi, I am currently looking for a job that is part time. I have done many types of work experience, such as in a cafeteria/restaurant where I washed dishes. I also worked in a shop where I cleaned up the garbage and swept. I did the Christmas kettles campaign with the Salvation Army and I was employed with a group doing contract work, where I gathered recycling and garbage and took it to the appropriate places in the community. I also worked for Spectra Energy putting together promotional packages. I aspire to do prep work in a pizzeria or do manual labor as I like using my strength doing things such as stacking wood.

Kelly:   I am looking for part time work and am a pretty relaxed and laid back guy. I am very friendly and caring person. I love meeting and getting to know new people. I enjoy working and am a reliable person. I catch onto things quickly and love learning new things all the time.  I am interested in doing computer work such as power points, data entry or looking up things for customers to see if they are in stock or available online.

Stewart:  I'm looking for full time work.  I have experience in retail, stocking and shipping and receiving. I am really strong and am able to lift things that are about 50 1bs or more. I am able to work for long periods of time without breaks. I am open to work different shifts, including weekends.

Alicia:  During my high school years I went into schools and spoke about my disability with the help of my support staff. I have volunteered with Mega Lottery, Ride for The Disabled and other groups. I also sell Avon products. I make dog treats and donate all of the proceeds to PADS (Pacific Assistance Dogs Society). My support staff assists me by making the dog treats and I will assist in bagging the dog treats and then we sell them at the local farmers market every Saturday. I also work at the Wholesale Club where I watch for shoplifters. I am looking for a new job with part time hours.

Jenelle:  I am enthusiastic and enjoy spending time with people. I like working on new skills and learning new things. I am skilled at janitorial, stocking shelves and recycling. I hope to find a position for a few hours a week.

Justin:   I am a very reliable worker. I’m an easy going and caring person. I can change tasks very easily, can perform multiple tasks and can lift things up to 40 1bs. I have experience in stocking shelves and being in charge of keeping the toy department clean in a department store I previoiusly worked at and I really enjoyed this. I like to keep busy. I am a team player and enjoy working with people, but I do tend to be shy until I get to know them more. I am really interested in research and love using the computer. I also love to read books. I would like to find a part time job.

Kelsey: Hi, I'm currently looking for a job that is part time. I have done many different jobs within the community such as; a courtesy clerk at Safeway, worked the Salvation Army Kettles during the Christmas season, worked at an elderly care centre and a daycare, and was a child minder at a local gym's daycare. I also have work experience in a cafeteria. I am a hard worker, and enjoy being a part of a team! I can follow instructions very well, and am dependable, considerate and friendly.

 Justin: I have work experience bussing tables at a coffee bistro and dong mail deliveries at the high school. I have worked a few times alongside my Dad on his foam truck, work a bottle recycling route, as well as a monthly cardboard recycling job for a local bank. I am a hard worker, and follow instructions well. I have a love of big trucks and heavy equipment, and enjoy being outdoors in nice weather. I have enjoyed learning different skills, and am looking for part time work where I can use those skills.
